Diane holds a BFA from the Maine College of Art, and a BA in Psychology from the 
University of California at Santa Cruz. Prior to attending art school, Diane was largely 
self-taught. Beginning at age nine with life drawing (which she quit Girl Scouts to 
attend), Diane’s artistic training continued with night classes and workshops fit around 
a demanding corporate job, and extensive doodling when she should have been taking 
notes. Diane lives in South Portland, Maine. Her current photographic work involves 
conceptual investigations of human experience.
