This book has had coffee spilled on it. Thankfully, it did dry completely. No evidence of residual moisture or mold growth was found, even when the dust jacket was removed, and the plastic cover and dust jacket were examined separately. In this case, the plastic dust jacket cover protected the dust jacket and the book’s cover from further damage.
