Here we have another spill. The white substance on the tan paper are paper fibers that tore off the facing page when the pages were separated. The back cover also shows paper fibers stuck to the spill area, this time from the tan end paper. The larger mark surrounding this area, seen most clearly on the back cover, is from moisture seeping into the cover paper, rather than from mold growth. Visually, this could look alarming, however there was no gritty texture, odor, or additional marks suggestive of mold growth. |
