Step 4: Securely attach both thermometers to the foam-core or mat board, side-by-side, using tape or twist-ties.

  • Bend twist ties around thermometers.
  • Push twist ties through the holes in the foam core. Leave enough space to slip the thermometers into place.
  • Next, slide the thermometers under the twist tie loops on one side of the foam core.
  • Pull the twist ties tight and secure by twisting on the back side of the hygrometer.
