Here is an example of shelf wear, where the pages of this book have discolored due to rubbing on the shelf on which the book was stored. The pattern here is even rather than blochy and the book shows no signs of moisture damage. It does show signs of wear, however, as evidenced by the damage on the corners of the cover (note in particular the worn fabric on the left side). |
